More about Wimberley Towing
Who we are and how we work.
Who owns Wimberley Towing?
Shawn and Sara Meyette, a husband and wife team. Shawn grew up in Wimberley and started the company in 2015 with a single truck and a phone he answered himself. It is now a team of twelve.
What makes Wimberley Towing different?
Three yards rather than one, so a truck is usually already on your side of the county line. WreckMaster certified drivers. And we publish our regulated rates, which almost nobody else in this market will put in writing.
How long have you been in business?
Since 2015. In 2024 the Hays County community voted us Best Wrecker Service in the Best of Hays awards.
How big is the company today?
Twelve people. Two dispatchers, six WreckMaster certified tow truck drivers, two roadside technicians, and Shawn and Sara running the operation. Six flatbed trucks work out of three yards in Wimberley, Kyle, and Blanco.
Is Wimberley Towing really local?
Yes. Shawn grew up in Wimberley, the home yard sits on Ranch Road 12, and the crew drives the same roads you do every day. In 2024 the Hays County community voted us Best Wrecker Service in the Best of Hays awards.
