Shawn grew up in Wimberley. He and Sara started the company in 2015 with one truck and a phone he answered himself.
About Wimberley Towing
Wimberley Towing is owned and operated by Shawn and Sara Meyette, a husband and wife team. Shawn grew up in Wimberley. What started as a small family operation in 2015 is now a team of twelve, including two dispatchers, six certified tow truck drivers, and two roadside technicians.
We run three yards, in Wimberley, Kyle, and Blanco, which means a truck is usually already on your side of the county line. Our drivers are WreckMaster certified, and in 2024 the Hays County community voted us Best Wrecker Service in the Best of Hays awards.
Rates for police authorized tows are regulated by local law enforcement. For everything else, dispatch gives you an estimate before the truck rolls.

Twelve people. Two dispatchers, six WreckMaster certified tow truck drivers, two roadside technicians, and Shawn and Sara running the operation. Six flatbed trucks work out of three yards in Wimberley, Kyle, and Blanco.
